Blogger Code of Conduct

chris_gerribMore then a few bloggers are talking about a Blogger's Code of Conduct, proposed by one Tim O'Reilly.
I glanced at the one linked above, and didn't see anything terribly objectionable about it. Assuming it doesn't get edited to death by Wikians (Wikiers? Users of Wikis?) it's a fair restatement of common sense etiquette. But "common sense" isn't really that common, so I guess folks need to be reminded of it.
Just for the record, although I'm not opposed to the Code, neither am I going to formally adopt it. This is my blog, and I reserve the right to run it as I see fit.
Edited to add - I try, and always will try, to keep this a civil place. It's just that I don't feel the need to get a gold star for doing so.
