I have booked my attendance at Capricon. Since I usually end up doing so anyway, I got a room for Thursday night. The hotel has a pool, there's a bar nearby, and so I can call it a mini-vacation.
My next project is to start working on Worldcon travel plans.

The taxes are the killer. Business class miles tickets are showing s $1250 in tax!

Date: 2013-12-13 09:57 pm (UTC)The other handy thing about Aer Lingus is you can clear US customs and immigration in Ireland and save yourself some pain after the long bit.
Plus you can get a connection straight to London City from Dublin... as you're a friend I would suggest ignoring the offers from Ryan Air... no matter how good they look, they're lying and Stansted Airport is quite literally in the middle of nowhere.
