I'm back in Chicago. The funeral was yesterday, conducted in a fog with literally less then 1/10 of a mile visibility. I have a writing group tonight, so in leiu of real content, here's Gerrib's Patented "Test of Small-Town-edness."

The lead news story on the TV news three nights in a row is that a cop lost his gun on the street. (Urbana, IL, the "big city" nearest my hometown.)

Our TV channel consists of a power point show (occassionally it's a desktop if the program crashes) full of advertisements and the biggest draw is the weekly TV bingo.

that beats me. The heck of it is, Urbana is a town of 30,000 people.
