A Break From Politics
Jun. 8th, 2010 10:09 amLest you think that this blog is all politics, all the time, I'm not going to say anything political today. (Cue wild applause.)
Since I now have to say something, let me first note that I booked my room and membership at ReConStruction, AKA NASFIC. After carefully penciling it out, it was cheaper to fly then drive (for one person), and since I don't need a rental car there, I'm flying. Yeah Southwest!
In other news, the always-entertaining Cat Valente posted an amusing, (spoiler-full) and snarky review / through trashing of the movie Splice on her website. It's an entertaining read, and tells me at least that Splice isn't even worth the pay-per-view. Also via Cat, I learn of the amusing website Unhappy Hipsters.
It's raining in Chicago, and I have Rotary today, so I'll stop typing now.
